Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
|
Our program strives to ensure that the exceptional students we support are educated alongside their general education classmates. When appropriate, we provide push-in support from an inclusion specialist, instructional assistant and/or special service providers (Speech, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Adapted Physical Education, etc.) in consideration of students' individualized needs and goals.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
|
Our staff team with general education teachers and staff to implement Universal Design for Learning techniques to help students access general education curriculum and concepts to progress in common core state standards.
Our resource and inclusion team rely on a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support model for providing supplemental academic or social/emotional (behavioral) supports. In this model students identified as having additional support needs are quickly given access to additional research-based interventions that align with their particular areas of need after IEP team consensus. |
